The Waitohi Trail

The Wanderer

Ride information

On arrival at our base you will be introduced to your guide and horse. We then spend the day riding up through the Waitohi area and surrounding hills and farms. We stop for lunch, with an optional swim at a favourite spot on the river. Daily by arrangement (Min 2 riders)

The Weekender

"The Weekender" is a romantic break and includes two nights' accommodation, dinner, bed, breakfast, packed lunch, a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates and two days trekking in the high country and rivers. NB: This can be booked on weekdays as well.

* All prices are retail in NZ Dollars per person, gst inclusive.

* Bookings are essential.

* All riders must be able to mount, ride, and dismount unaided, as well as rise to the trot (posting) and canter safely.

* Routes can vary due to seasons and climatic conditions.
